ABOUT US

Our members gather from the top colleges around the world with various specializations such as fashion design, IT, material science, etc. Despite the different backgrounds, we share the same ideology of making our blue planet a better place. Now, we live our goal by creating comfy and well-designed clothes for us human beings.

The COVID pandemic just brought us a huge heads-up and drove us to consider more seriously about the relationship between our species and planet Earth. Mother nature loves humans by giving all the resources to us, but this does not make us the kings on earth. We shall not take all of it for granted and ignore the signs of pain from her. We shall love our mother planet, as well as each other, as we are one.

Caring for Earth is more than a slogan to us. In our designing ideology, we take actions from plastics -- our worst enemy and the biggest elephant in the room.

According to research, humans consume more than 62 million tons of clothing each year, only 15% of which are recycled or reused. The rest is buried or burned, treated as residual waste. Considering the material of clothes is 72% consisted with Polyester, which is a form factor of plastic, the buried clothes is mostly non-degradable and takes at least 200 years to resolve. This sadly makes the clothing industry the second largest cause of environmental pollution in the world, right after the petrochemical industry. Based on the scientific prediction, when the world population grows to 8.5 billion by 2030, clothing industry will surpass petrochemical industry and be the top on that shameful list. Not just the air be polluted, soil will be hardened as well. Decreasingly amount of food can grow from our land and more people will suffer from lung diseases.

Meanwhile, clothing industry on land is just a part of contribution of plastic. More plastic in the ocean is also murdering every creature on Earth. 91% of the plastic waste was dumped in the oceans instead of being recycled, 150 million tons of plastics are estimated existing in the ocean. Detecting plastic particles in fish and seafood is not a fresh news anymore. Through the food chain, they all come back to us human. Not to mention, the marine animals are trapped and choked by the plastics in every moment. Our friends are disturbed, hurt, even killed.

These facts are the reasons that our members gather in Allforest™, through the material made from recycled bottles, our international designing team present you the most meaningful clothes – owning the fashionable piece of design and reducing the pollution towards our planet at the same time. We will all be grateful for choosing Allforest™ and contributing to the Earth.
